LANDSREC The high-resolution landscapes in rice meiotic recombination
To better understand the epigenetic and genetic factors involved in the distribution of meiotic cross-overs in order to establish a predictive tool for their occurrence for genetic analyses and plant breeding
-
Through integrated and participatory approaches, DINAAMICC aims to reduce the vulnerability of family farms in the central highlands of Madagascar to climatic and environmental changes by improving and promoting agro-ecological solutions that contribute to their resilience and sustainability within their environment.

The mechanisms of formation of aerenchyma are not known, in particular genes involved in its initiation. Their identification would make it possible to understand how this adaptive mechanism to submergence, present in many flowering plant species, is implemented. This would also open up the possibility of developing new submergence-tolerant cereal species. Rice is the perfect model to identify these genes and mechanisms that are naturally present in this species.

Since January 2019, a new European Union decree limits the amount of cadmium (heavy metal) authorized in chocolate products. The countries of the Andean region, already impacted by climate change, are, by the nature of their cadmium-rich soils, particularly concerned by this new legislation. The ambitions of this project are the identification, development and scaling up of solutions combining genetics, soil sciences and socio-economics to reduce the amount of cadmium in market cocoa, whose production has been strongly encouraged. by governments as a strategy to reduce rural poverty and / or drug-related conflicts.

The LIFE Vida for Citrus project aims to implement strategies for adapting the citrus industry and ornamental citrus in urban areas in Europe to climate change. It also aims to anticipate the arrival of HLB disease in Europe by improving the citrus resilience.
-
preHLB: Prevent the spread of HLB in citrus orchards
The preHLB project aims to limit the risks of introduction and spread of HLB disease in European citrus orchards and to develop new long-term solutions to manage the disease through a multidisciplinary approach.

Whether in medicine or in agronomy, the understanding of biological mechanisms of traits of interest is an important objective. In this objective, the project ISULO proposes the development of innovative statistical methods to identify relevant variables, from various types of -omic datasets, involved in important processes and to estimate their relations within one – omic dataset but also between different types of -omic datasets.
